Another lovely cardi.
Sirdar crofter is a lovely yarn to use but can be expensive.
It is lovely like all the others you do, I agree about it being a pain with all the twisting of yarns but well worth it for such a nice result.
You make so many baby cardis, have you a huge extended family or do you donate to several places?
I got that pack also & intend making a mitre square blanket with it.
Love your buttons, they are perfect, your choice of buttons are always great
Very well done, it is a lovely pattern.
I am from Dublin, Ireland.
KP is keeping me sane after two operations in the last 3 months, while I am recovering & resting!!!
I am only at the beginning of June with KP so a good bit to go!!!
Thank you everybody.
I had an elective total knee replacement on 23rd April then on 24th May was diagnosed with breast cancer!!!
NO SYMPTOMS, just found after a routine mammogram sooooooooo on 10th July a lumpectomy & 5 lymph nodes removed.
Shock & wondering what is next the worst part.
2 fairly big operations in 11 weeks is fairly tough on the body, then the tiredness!!!!!!
Lovely hot dry day here & I am taking it easy & enjoying trying to catch up on my KP!!
To day I am celebrating 7 years of being a member on this forum.
I have had several health issues this year so am quite far behind in reading KP
Love the site & the many friends I have made here & all the things I have learned.
Happy crafting to all.
Enjoyed that, we have just celebrated 51 years
I have been knitting for over 60 years & only learnt about top down about 5 years ago.
I love this method. Little coffee bean pattern free online is my favourite.
Well worth trying , good luck
I have to ask........
How do you hang your toilet paper & what is the "fixed" way?
Very rude of your visitor to change how things are in YOUR house!
A little bit of fun all we women can relate to. br... (
I am just recovering from a lumpectomy 2 weeks ago, this will bring some lighter moments when I meet with my knitting group soon!!!!
I too have this problem, I have lymphodema. I taught myself to knit socks cos even bought soft top ex large were too tight after a few hours. I take a size 7 (42) shoe & made them by the pattern toe up 2 at a time but when doing about 1 12" rib at the calf I increased into every stitch on the last 2 rows & cast off with 1 size bigger needle loosely. They work a treat.
I used Drops Fable yarn for all 8 pairs. Sorry I can't load a photo - having probs with my camera & don't know to get hotos from phone to laptop!!!!!
