It may have helped that the Louet was my only wheel when I was lucky enough to take a workshop on fine spinning with Mabel Ross.

It depends on which wheel I'm using. If the scotch tension wheel, worsted. If the bobbin lead wheel, woolen.

I would buy pair of hand carders to use while I built a fund for a drum carder. Brother and Sweet Kitty are not so expensive.

Your kids might also appreciate Duofold underwear. It has a layer of wool sandwiched between cotton layers and is machine washable. Flannel lined jeans and slacks are also cozy.

I think I would turn the sweater inside out and baste fabric to the seam lines. Another hack that comes to mind is buying a silk undershirt, cutting up the center front, slipping it inside the cardigan, and tacking it in place. Good luck! the cardigan

Love 'em! Great for layering, they pop on and off so easily. Also hide a multitude of sins and "fit" no matter what pant size I happen to be this/next winter!

I like the assymetry. One shorter side makes it easy to carry a purse.
