Could you make it in the round? Buttons are cute but not comfortable looking. I also love the finish around the bottom. So sweet.

Tomball, Texas Sit n Stitch meets once a week at the Lone Star College Library. We had a young lady join us for several weeks and learned to knit. Then it was time for her to go home to Taiwan. She left in mid June.

Now we are worried because no one has heard from her. I heard very little of the storm and damage. Is there
anyone near Taiwan who can let us know how the country and people fared. My prayers are coming your way.

The ugly spots I have are quite large and dark purple. Most, I don't remember how I got them since they don't hurt.
A regular deep bruise usually hurts. The purple bruises are ugly but don't hurt me. If I reach into the fridge and hit the shelf above with the back of my hand, I bruise. Door frames, and the garden is really bad. Looks like I have been beaten up!

I Haven't done this yet, but thinking about making "sleeves" to protect my skin. Feeling lazy, or overcome with arthritis. Really tired and ache all over. RA and fibro myalgia amongst my several diagnosis. Oops, trying not to complain too much. 😬

Get a used pair of kids jeans so the legs are the length from above your elbow and down to the wrist. Tiny jeans, their legs would fit our arms. Add elastic so they stay in place. Then it may protect against some of the bumps and bangs that bruise. And, when you go out you may have fewer bruises to hide.

If someone tries it, let me know. Then I might get the energy to make my own. Maybe double legs on my arms would protect me in the garden. Really seems to leave me marked up.

Have you tried "rain x" window washer fluid? Use a pot scrubber with the rain x to get the film off. Rub dry with newspaper. Then spray rain x again and dry with a paper towel. This may do the job.

No matter our age, we love our hard work to be recognized. Blue Ribbon, pretty good recognition I must say!
Will keep a look out for pictures.

Mollyannhad,

Let me add my prayers to all the rest. God, my friends on KP need your healing hand. You say where two or three gather in your name and here we are, hundreds are gathered, all around the world. God, see all our friends and their healing needs. Let everyone who reads this ask to be included in the prayer, or be praying for them. Father, touch these precious ones and bring healing and hope. You are our hope, thank you God

You are so right, to have a place to ask people to pray for you is the best. Every once in awhile, I feel the urge (Holy Spirit) to pray for a stranger. I don't know anything about them but pray God's will. Then I wonder if I am the ONLY person in the world who has ever prayed for this person. So I pray for them long after.

Rani, thank you for sharing your need. I will pray for you as will many KP'ers when they see your need. And keep knitting and praying. God, our Healer, I ask you to intervene with my friends health and cure her from any ailments and direct the doctors to meet her needs. In Jesus Name I pray.

What are. You knitting? Janice

I've been looking for a poncho pattern for my 2 and 4 year old great nieces.

I know many people have asked for the pattern you used. It is the nicest one I've seen. Looks so soft
and would drape nice on the girls.

If you get a chance to share the pattern before you take your trip we would all be grateful.

Thanks, and have a good trip.

My husband hardly ever talks to me at all. Except when I'm trying to read KP, or knitting or crocheting. I turn off my iPad, or lay my needlework in my lap. Then give him my FULL attention and ask him to repeat his comment (he mumbles) then continue by asking questions and making comments until he says that's all or nothing more. Then I go back to my knitting and he acts much nicer after that. He makes comments and ask questions, but in a nice way. By turning my full attention to him, he gets the idea and he really doesn't want to have a conversation. But we do talk some and it is nice.
