Your socks are always so beautuful. I just can't use the smaller circular needles.Still wanting to start to make socks though.

has anyone used this yarn for socks yet?

Blue Dasher - Hot Shot Toes - Babette
If you like our Cosmic, you’ll love Hot Shot for fine, durable socks. Hot Shot is just a touch skinnier than Cosmic, but with the same sturdy superwash Merino and nylon. The round 3-ply construction makes textured stitches pop, and these mini skeins are perfect for colorwork and small projects. .

Size: 133 yd / 1.3 oz (121m / 38g) skeins
Content: 80% superwash Merino wool, 20% nylon
Gauge: Fingering weight. 7-9 stitches per inch on US 0-2.
Care Instructions: Machine wash gentle. This yarn should be dried flat for best results.

Both are beautiful. I have bought some Lorna's Laces, but bought the Solemate and thought I would try it for the socks. These are just what I have been looking for , as I don't like taller socks.Thank you for sharing.

This sounds like a nightmare. I would call the local TV station and talk with someone, if you live in a smaller town, they might want a humorous story, so when the shipment comes (720 skeins of yarn) have them tell what wonderful service Herrschners is giving you. I would print off this story you have told us and let it be read on air by them.Or maybe they would call Herrschners to see if they would like to comment on this and correct it immediately.

Working a Strong heel is still in my future so I can't comment there. I can however tell you how I did a top down sock with a faux heel flap and not a single picked up stitch. Interested? Trying to write it out so it makes sense to anybody other than me is time consuming so I'll wait to see if anyone wants to know about it.

I am pm me please also. Thanks Myra
