I think your best therapy is right here on KP. You’re half way fixed when you recognise you need help and know where to find it! You learn much from your mistakes if you let yourself relax and find how to fix them. I hope you got your answer and can enjoy finishing the project. Sometimes easy projects are good therapy, but what an achievement when you can learn and complete a complicated, beautiful pattern!

It gets much harder the longer you leave it.

My husband’s migraines were caused by caffeine withdrawal. He would be flat on his back sick and in pain for three days at a time. Once he found the connection, went through the last withdrawal and ditched caffeine, he remained migraine free.

Some folk have natural pride in their own bodies. No shame in that that is not imposed by others with inhibitions.

It’s like the sixty six sheep thingie, except that sheep do go up hills at times.

Women used to have to wear long dresses and petticoats and bloomers even while playing sports. I bet there were many gasps of disapproval when skirts shortened. Original Olympians competed naked.

He has no shame, so would never feel embarrassed. Everything he does is perfect in his eyes. Anything that goes wrong is someone else’s fault. I think his followers must have very short memories not to notice how much he flip flops. No wonder his lawyer don’t want him to testify. Hard to believe hard nosed senators chose him, you’d think they would take more time to vet their picks before nominating them.

Great work! Well deserved wins!

I think machine knitting will become more popular with easily accessible instruction available for so many retired baby boomers. Hand knitting is certainly very popular again. I used to have to travel 50 miles or more to the only yarn store, now there are pobably 8 within that distance. Not one knitting club that I heard of then! Now I have two club sessions a week, had three but the instructor moved away. Also, supplies are now so easy to order online, don’t have to go further than the mailbox if you don’t want to!

Hubby got a fine when his truck was stolen. He had left it open with his keys in it. Asking for trouble. Thief didn’t get far, ran it into a snowbank. Got the truck back but some of his tools were stolen. I nearly always lock the doors at night, but not during the day. You just never know. Better to be safe than sorry.
