Can I just ask everyone for a big favor? Those of you who are planning to place Christmas lights/decorations in your gardens, can you please avoid anything that is blue and flashing? Every time I drive by, I think it's the police and have a panic attack. I have to take my foot off the accelerator, toss my wine bottle, fasten my seat belt, throw my phone on the floor, turn my radio down and push the gun under the seat. It's too much for me to do in such a short notice............. thank you all for cooperating and taking my feelings into consideration.

Oh Kathy, that's so funny! Plus, it sounds like something my sister who lives in Green Bay would do/say. Actually, she tells me she one-eyes-it (closes one eye) so she doesn't see double, LOL!

How about this one?

Thanks Beachgirl1000 for sharing this pattern. I'm going to try this one and make it longer as in the OP's picture. I have some Lion Brand ZZ Twist that has nice drape so once I get it finished, I'll show pictures.

The actual name is about 15 characters long. I can never remember the name but it is sulphur. Your body needs sulphur for skin, tissues, etc. Plus it is a natural anti-inflammatory. That is why it works so well for getting rid of the pain in our knees.

Is this it?

For many years we have been taking in roomers (at no cost) when we hear of someone who needs help. They are often referred by churches. Several years ago we hosted a young woman who was at odds with her family. While with us we had our ups and downs but over-all OK. She was going to Nursing school at the time, really applied herself, and has gone on to be OK - also a lovely singer, now works as a school nurse, has bought a house, has a dog and a boyfriend - - -
Got a call yesterday from her mom. Mom and Dad are separated and mom is in the house alone - all 4 kids gone - Dad and 1 son living together. Youngest son (age 20) is in jail on a "minor" assault charge but can't be let out to live with mom as she has some kind of a restraining order on him - but is allowed to visit him in jail and take things for him. But now she is searching for a place for him to come when out of jail - are we available? Ummm. My first thought was no. And my second thought was also no - he has no job and has been diagnosed as being a high autistic Asperger Patient and is OK as long as he takes his meds, but he doesn't think there is anything wrong with him so doesn't take them. Umm. How do I tell this mother that no way am I taking in an unemployed, unmedicated Asperger 20-year-old male. Well I did a lot of dancing around and much of it was that we do take in missionaries from a local office (true - couple coming Halloween time) but mainly I kept saying we really are not equipped or trained to take on this kid. Over and Over. But she kept on telling me he needs a place so he can get out of jail and I kept telling her in 72 different ways that our home is not the place. Finally I finished the call and hung up. I still feel sorry for her but this family has had problems for YEARS and this is just the last one and then there will be no family. And he is bright - got a full-ride scholarship but couldn't handle college life. What a waste of a good mind. What a shame.

Thanks for letting me rant.

I too am voting for Cox for Governor. If he looses I am leaving California.

I hope more people will vote for Cox instead of Newsome. Look what he did to San Francisco as mayor! God help us all if Gavin Newsome gets into the governor's mansion!!!!

Also, my daughter went to DMV when she changed her name after her divorce. She had all the paperwork done, an appointment set, and it still took her 6 hours to get everything completed for them to issue her license to her. This was last October, in California!

From what I can see, this pattern belongs to Annie's Attic and probably shouldn't be sold on Etsy as a pdf. Here is the link to the original sold on AA, and if you're not in a hurry for the pattern they will probably be having a sale on their holiday patterns soon lol

There are several skirt patterns if you scrolled down, not just the first one.

Um, I clicked on the link before I read all of your comments. It took me directly to a page that had the pattern and a video showing how to do the stitches. I didn't have to continuously click on links to get anywhere else.

Isn't click-bait where you continuously click on different links to get to the item listed, or am I wrong?

It's so much fun to see other parts of our world, and how other people live.

Thank you Anne for showing us your part of Australia. It's beautiful there.

I need as little as possible of your silly comments in my reading. Thank you.

This just goes to show how closed minded you are.

It's your way, or NO way!

How sad is that?
