So sorry to hear about this. She asked you to make it!!! For myself I would talk to her and let her know I had overheard what she said . Ask why she said it and let her know not to ask to have anything made for her again. Of course it would probably open a whole new can of worms. I'm not advising anyone else to do this, I just don't like rudeness or cruelty and at this point in my life I don't put up with it.
I do like the muzzle idea though!!!

I'm new to this forum also and from Attleboro , MA.
I live with my daughter and grandsons. The youngest, not quite 4, doesn't like to eat so I make deals with him. Eat 4 slices of apple and you can use your playdough, eat some of your oatmeal and you can watch the tv, etc.. Usually he will eat some if not all of the food if we can just get him started, but we do require that he eat some or he doesn't get to do whatever it is that he wants to do at the time. Kids usually have things that they like to do and these can be used to help encourage eating.
My holidays are spent by myself, I have family but don't like the drama so I make myself a nice big dinner w/dessert and have lots of leftovers. I actually enjoy it.

Working on a pair of knit socks and a crochet doily that's almost finished. I have so many projects that I want to get started but I don't think I will live long enough to get them all done.lol
