For mice in cars--they love wiring--try Irish Spring bar of soap (original smell) I use a discarded sock to hang the soap in area near engine.
Last weekend a friend who lives in central Texas-about an hour north of Austin (which could mean 5 miles with Austin traffic) Anyway her dogs were making a ruckus on the patio and when she approached she heard the rattle, called her husband who just happened to be sighting in a scope on his rifle...scope must have been off since he hit snake twice but didn't kill it--then finished it off with a hand gun...they tossed the carcass out in the pasture...two days later nothing but a skeleton. Happy hawks and buzzards. Amazing how well they cleaned the bones. Nothing goes to waste in nature. Now their 4 Golden Retrievers are on patrol.
OK, guys....Last week I was minding my own business spring cleaning a herb bed when I saw something move or rather, slither on the other side of the walk. ..Maybe an inch in diameter and about 4 to 5 feet long with rather pretty coloring and a skinny tail (no rattle)--according to the "net" a Texas rat snake..Yes, in far north Dallas--a RAT SNAKE. My feeling are live and let live but wonderful news no more mouse droppings in the garage...now I turn on the lights and make lots of noise when I go outside--even send my Yellow Lab out first as a scout,
Some folks need to make others feel bad in order for them to feel good. Ignore them!
