I wake between 3 and 4 am. I do go back to sleep most times. When doing my degree my best thoughts for assignments came about 5 oclock. I always had pen and paper handy

My mom and grandmother. Cannot remember sitting with my mom learning to knit but must have done. Remember taking all my projects to be put right when I made a mistake. Loved those days. Grandmother taught me the basics of crochet but never as good as my knitting

Hugs to you. I miss my mom. I have a daughter in law who I struggle to cope with. I know my mom would have given me advice and if she could not help have been there to listen. Mom was very good with people and I think she would have talked to my daughter in law. Hope you find comfort.

I love your post. My Dad had tuberculosis at 21 and my mom sat by his bed for 7 months and knitted him a fair isle jumper. That was the beginning of a long and loving marriage. Hope it's the same for your grandson
