I understand your problem, I use the Cable cast on because it is neat, easy, and it ends on the wrong side ready to start knitting on the right side

Thank you for the trip to my past! I knitted the whole set for my daughter, in fact I still have the pattern book!

Thank you wise knitters, I did it and really liked it, I think I will use it again. I lined the stitches up and slipped the last 3 to a cable needle and knitted the 2togs. Now it all makes sense! My next interesting part is to do the sock on magic loop, I think I am going to have to pull out my dps. Thank you to all hwo helped.

Thank you, the bit I stumble over the k2tog three times (1 st from front needle with
1 st from back needle each time). How does that make a split?

I really want to make these but the split welt sounds and reads very strange to me.Gusset heels are very familiar to me,but how does one do the split cuff? Am I being dumb? I tried diving in but I got very confused. I consider myself an experienced socknitter, and I don't like not being able to do this. Is there a secret trick? Please?

My grandmother used to make me Lemon Sago, I still remember the sweet and sour taste and the soft texture. Yum
