I like Skin MD Shielding lotion (similar to Gloves in a Bottle). I found it at a local yarn shop.

Does anyone know WHY it's called the Einstein Coat ???

Per the book: "It's called the Einstein Coat because you feel like a genius when it's done: the fabric sits in your lap while you knit and turn the pieces as directed (without necessarily understanding why you do so)...and then you work two small seams...and voila, a coat!"

This is a Baby Albert (very similar to the adult Einstein) that I made. Pattern is also in the book.

I really like your coat. Is this an individual purchased pattern, or only available in the book along with the other patterns?

I believe it is only available in the book. Maybe you can check your library to see if they have it.

Costco carries the mats also, I forget the price but it's pretty cheap.
