Oh, I'd never shorten sleeves! If it is seamed, make some thump slits, or turn back a cuff when you do t want to wear that way. Sorry, I'm someone who struggles to find any sleeve long enough ...
I'm so sorry that your family is facing so much at once. May God give you and those you love His peace, His healing, and His comfort. Prayers for all of you.
Hooray for you! Well done!! You should definitely celebrate!
Who wouldn't love something so beautiful and made by such a good friend?
What a lovely result!! Congratulations!
May your good memories comfort you and may God give you peace.
It was a tradition with our family too. We were taught that putting on all new clothes and shoes for Easter symbolized putting on our new life in Christ as we celebrated His resurrection on Easter. I have some great Easter photos, if I can find them ...
Beautiful daughter and lovely knitting!
What a lovely tribute to your friend. When we're blessed to have good friends it is really hard to give them up. I'm sure your friendship and love made her life better. May God comfort you and her family as you mourn your loss and grant you peace as you share your good memories.
Welcome! I took a more than 30 year break myself and picked it up again. I'm enjoying it so much. A big part of my enjoyment is my knitting friends and our group that meets weekly. Hope you have some crafty friends nearby. Happy knitting!!
What a blessing you are to so many hurting people, Lena. The wraps are beautiful, I especially like the one in pink. God bless you for sharing your time and talents.
I don't blame you, I'd be celebrating too! That is a beautiful sweater and fits perfectly. Well done!!
Love this idea and your work is beautiful! What fun!
I was probably eat that age when Mama taught me to knit. Crochet came later and I still prefer knitting. Hope you have a wonderful time with her whatever you decide - the time you spend together is the best part.
Oh, I love this! Thanks for sharing.
