I would change to perfume and dye free detergent. Also try using liquid instead of powder. My son developed eczema when he was young. We changed laundry soap and that made a difference.

I would use either cotton, linen or bamboo yarn. Acrylic might be too irritating to his sensitive skin.

NES=Nintendo Entertainment System - I have boys. :)

Very nice blanket! It would be fought over in my house.

I am sorry to hear of your dog passing. They become so much a part of our lives. It is difficult to lose them.

Your and your hat are both beautiful.

Were these machine knit? The edges in the second picture are perfect. How did you prevent the blankets from curling along the edges?

Hello fellow MK KP'er.

Here are the instructions of how I knit my daughter's sweater as promised. Sorry for the delay. Life interfered. And, I had some mishaps as I knit. That's why I forgot to take couple of more detailed photos. I am attaching the Instructions of the pocket as Word document for download. If there is interest, I can do the front band also.

Thank you. I am excited to try making a sweater and I really like the sweater that you made.

Looks great! Would you share some general instructions for one who just finished a cardigan for a daughter's boyfriend and is ripping it off because she just doesn't like how it looks? ....😖

Yes, like how did you do the pockets? And how did you do the white trim?

Are these card or some sort of plastic, like Mylar?

You need to ask yourself how the folds got in there first, and do the opposite!

Over many years (but not with punchcards), I have simply put stuff on a flat place, with something else flat on top, maybe on a radiator or similar, then large weights. Even plastic containers filled with water will do. Then leave it for at least a week.....

I have even flattened warped CDs and DVDs this way....

If that does not work, try the cool ironing method someone else mentioned....or watch this video, whicht help you further:-

This method worked really well on a rubber wheel from a really old KM. The wheel was badly warped. I left it under weights for a couple of weeks and it came out very nice. I would try this before using the iron.

That is adorable. How did you make the beard portion?

The afghan is beautiful and I am looking forward to seeing the hummingbird. This is embarassing to ask but I have never made a graph afghan so I am unfamiliar with the tools available. I really like the bobbin holder. It seems like it would make the whole process so much easier. Did your husband make the bobbins as well as the holder?

Welcome. Waiting is so hard! I do not like it. What machine did you purchase? When I have to wait I spend hours reading the manual (you can download the manual for free) and watching youtube videos. It helps make the waiting not so miserable.
