Can anyone tell me the user name for Judy Hayden, Buckley, WA? I have a bag of yarn to give her but her phone "isn't taking calls." I'd like to PM her but can't find her user name.

I have these yarn end leftovers to give away to anyone who does charity work. I'll even pay the postage in the U.S. First to PM me with your mailing address is the winner.

There is a drug called Tessalon which works on the Central Nervous System. It tells your brain you do not have to cough UNLESS you actually have something to cough up. This has been a miracle for me. Being an MD, he surely must know of this drug.

This was my Christmas present to my friend, Traci. She's always such a good model. I used Aran yarn from Mary Maxim. The pattern on front, back, and sleeves is from the Mary Maxim Poncho. Just a basic pullover with "flower neckline."

I agree with you but as mentioned above it's so they can charge for the PDF and I think they get advertising money and it also takes you to their site or blog.

I have a few free patterns on Ravelry but I make them instantly downloadable - but no one pays me to do them or advertises with me. i guess that's it in a nutshell but occasionally a really nice pattern comes up but like the OP I give up because cutting and pasting and removing all the ads in between is a pain.

Try It allows you to take out anything you don't want on your printed page. And it's FREE.

When I was little and would crochet doilies my wonderful Dad called it "witching up thread."

Plus not knowing how to take picture(s) so you can actually see the pattern. I'm working right now on one that is so far away it's a blur and no closeups of the actual stitches. A designer also needs to keep in mind the pose of the model. Is her hair covering something important? Has she done back, front, and sides if it's patterned. They need to give pictures some more thought.

This one has no armholes so just can be dropped over the head.

Thanks. I already did that months ago and it still isn't being manufactured again.

What is it? I have LOTS of Ice Yarn but the number means nothing to me.

I went to Yarn Paradise and searched your yarn #. It is Pixie Alpaca cream.

Then I went through the yarn I have and although I have several alpaca Ice Yarns, none of them are the one you want.

You might check on ravelry.

Thanks for looking. I edited my title.

If you have trouble with the printing, try going to Copy the URL from the top of the original page, open a new blank page, go to and paste the URL in the box. You can then go through and take out anything you don't want to print. They are really good about editing out most of the junk before you even have to get started.

How about knitting only the doubled earband portion of the 1898 hat? Just whipstitch or crochet the top edges together instead of continuing on with the hat. Works wonderfully for good ear coverage and doesn't slip.
