That blanket yarn is so soft I have been tempted but not tried it yet. I bet that is really warm.

Very nice. I’ve been using leftover yarn to knit the Purl Soho Bandanna Cowl. Fun to knit, pretty and a great use of leftovers!

This is the pattern I use for men. Even die-hard wear no scarf men like this one. I think it is so practical and small enough to cram in a pocket.

The style seems to be great soft unstructured pillows. You did well with solving that problem.

Iodine stains but helps too. Like Betadine surgical scrub. You can get it with a little dispenser under the cap. Easy to use. Don't use if you are allergic to iodine. Everything thing takes as much time as the nail growing out.

Do the KFB. It is part of the edge treatment and adds to the pattern. The designer planned this look. Somehow it goes well with the garter stitch. I have knit several of these. It is a good fall back mindless pattern when you need to fill in between big projects.

I think that means the turning lane? That is illegal and frankly dangerous.

When someone posts something mean spirited put them on your ignore list under your Profile. It makes this site much nicer to read.

I hope this link works.
This is for all you toy makers out there. The selection of colors is inspiring. I have used other cotton/acrylic blends from this company and they are very nice. Stash anyone?

I went once when we were on vacation in the area. It was awe inspiring and I would go again given the chance. As you say though I could not buy all my yarns from there. We stopped at a yarn shop every day of that trip and there were several that had the whole range of yarn. You could buy a reasonable baby yarn or a heavenly mohair or merino. I find that type of store more practical.

I don't know which needles you are using but I like circulars with long tips. The vintage ones I prefer to use are very like straight needles attached with a cord.

I use what Yarn Paradise recommends. It is usually UPS and I get my order in about a week to NC. I add yarn to my order until the shipping changes to the next price level and then delete that last pack of yarn. This way I get the most yarn for my shopping charge. Have fun when you get it.

I think you will still have to secure each strip to the strip that passes it in order for the strips to stay in a woven pattern. Perhaps just tacking the middle of each square like a quilt would work. I would tack and edge in the same color.

That is so little yarn that all I can think of is use another yarn and make stripes with your gift yarn. Say a cowl with stripes of your special yarn.

At least he doesn't weed things like basil, I mean ALL the basil, like my hubby. At least I hope yours doesn't. I ask him did he not notice it was in rows? He said it smelled good when he pulled it all up.

That might be most of my outfits. I go for comfortable too.
