I have had both carpal tunnel and DeQuirvin's tendinitis...had surgery for the carpal tunnel and a cortisone shot help the tendinitis. There is a pressure glove that you can buy in most pharmacy departments or online that helps for short term pain. It does help and it's very flexible, made out of elastic nylon with a wrist brace. They come in sizes and can be worn on either hand. I still use it for my arthritis that occasionally kicks up.

My father installed a clothesline for my Mom as one of the first things in our new house. He also put a birdhouse on the top of the rather long metal pole he installed for it. Sixty years later, the pole, clothesline and birdhouse are still being used!

I have a line in my house now too (no birdhouse :(). We've gone through about five lines over the years. There's nothing like sheets hung out that smell fresh! Love it!

While I agree with Ravelry's statement and their right to it, I agree with the others that a craft site is not the place for political opinions. There are certainly many sites for these so if you feel strongly on a subject you should avail yourself of these.

I have ordered from them, too. Once I ordered a lawn ornament that came with a warning about possible carcinogens in the product. Also a pair of boots (too small for the size!) that stated there was possible cancer causing materials (according to California standards) in them and they were MucLucs!! And I agree with the others that their sizes run way small. The only thing that came close to being worth the money was some of the jewelry I ordered but there was even some disappointments there too.

I am in the snow belt (hills) of northwest NJ and we have not seen a lot of snow this year but we are expecting snow/ice/sleet this evening. Would much prefer the snow! I am retired also and really have no place to go usually but we have a bowling league tomorrow that I guess we'll have to cancel...oh, well! It is winter after all!

Very nice bracelets. The beads look big enough that would allow you to roll them instead of pulling and the charms add a special touch. Nice!

I don't have pictures but my "Christmas" cactus decided to celebrate Halloween this year! The blooms were many and beautiful, though. Maybe next year.

I haven't felt it necessary to post any replies before. As for my reply, the facts of the matter are dripping out slowly but surely.

Ruby throated here in NJ. We have a feeder and whoever gets there first, owns it. They sit in the tree waiting for an intruder and then the fight starts! How entertaining! We love them.
