You Tube videos are very helpful. I basically taught myself to crochet by watching various videos on You Tube. Just open up Ypu Tube on your computer or iPad or whatever and then search for the topic you are interested in. I like to pause at certain parts so I can do the stitches and then unpairs to continue. Good luck!

I have not been getting the emails for several days too.
I just bookmarked the site as someone else suggested.
Hope that works!
Yes I have had trigger thumb and trigger finger. I have gotten a steroid shot in the base of my finger. The last one was end of April but I am having trouble with that same finger right now and it has been hurting for weeks. It is my right ring finger. Can’t really press it all the way down to my palm and in the mornings when I wake up I can’t close my hand for a bit. The pain isn’t terrible but it is annoying. I crochet a lot so I bet that aggravates it. My dr. Is a hand specialist. My husband had trigger finger too and had minor surgery to clip the little thing in it. Recovery was about a couple of weeks. I really don’t want to do that route. If it keeps bothering me I’ll go back and have another shot. I got one in December or January and then I had to have it again in April. It is sooooo annoying!! But, I am not giving up crocheting!!
I have crocheted some baby hats for a local hospital. They are quick to crochet and I can do it while I watch TV. The lady at the hospital is always so appreciative too!
I get that spam all the time that I won . I am really, really tired of it! Several days when I got it I just stopped and deleted the KP email. My husband says I get that cause I am on my I pad but not for sure. It sure is frustrating! I really enjoy KP but gees, this has got to stop with the unsolicited stuff!
Hi Cathy! I live in Northern KY. I am a retired teacher. My husband is still working. I crochet mostly now but I know how to knit. Hating this cold weather now too! You will really enjoy this website. I read it everyday! Welcome!
Hi. I have a very pretty wardrobe in my living room that houses all ( most) of my yarn. It has several drawers in it. I arrange mine by: cotton ( that I use mainly to make washcloths), acrylic, wool and/ or alpaca, baby yarns( for blankets or baby projects) , specialty yarns, then lastly eyelash or fancy types of yarns. This just helps me so when I need to find a specific kind I know where I have grouped it. In the big side part that has shelves, I store my knitting and crochet books, needles, etc. I also keep my big “ pounds” of yarn that I find on sale. I also keep blankets or Afghans that I have made and not just sure what to do with. Hope this is helpful!
Congratulations! Grandchildren are such blessings!
I think I used almost 2 cakes. First shawl I made with this yarn and pattern.
You will love this yarn! I got this for $ 7.99 each but found another color on sale for $4.99 each and am crocheting a poncho with it now.
