I wonder how an unscrupulous a'hem individual knew to swipe the domain name you wanted just minutes after you researched it and attempt to hold you to ransom? The spouse suggested someone may have an interesting search app or, God forbid, be involved with the registration/sale of these domain names. Sigh. Pirates are everywhere.

I have found that some yarns tend to twist the finished jumper or top around my body if I knit in the round so I prefer to seam an item so it has more structure. Sometimes crocheting a false seam will help afterward too. Ah, the joys of knitting - so many options! Enjoy the experience.

When I've been in Sydney, I've made a point of going to Morris & Sons- worth it just for the beautiful displays. Last time I was there, there was a Lincraft on the same street. Opposite end of the Spectrum, but can be worth checking out.

Did not find the Granny Square.

I try to avoid Sydney altogether, I lived there for a few years. I like Morris & Sons in Collins St., Melbourne and visit there on an annual pilgrimage. My favourite wool shop is Bendigo Woollen Mills and I try to convince the spouse we really need to visit Bendigo as often as possible - we live on the road in a motorhome and mail delivery can be daunting. Mind you, we upsized from a fifth wheeler partly to house my stash and I have already run out of storage space, sigh. I need to knit and crochet more and collect online patterns less, lol. We have a great life. :-)

There are a few different links in these 5 pages. The first one has a glaring error; the colours should be changed every two rows. Less obvious until you attempt to knit it, is that the numbers are just plain wrong. I haven't had at it again ... yet.

At least one later link seems to be better.

Thanks JJ, enjoy your weekend!

Thanks JJ, but is this pattern related to the picture? It reads as using colour A for rows 1, 2 and 24 and colour B for rows 3 to 23 inclusive. The picture seems to show two rows of pink then one row of blue then two rows of green.
Okay, it is Friday morning but I am really confused now.

That is a very good idea, a simple and effective solution to an irritating problem. Thank you for sharing the concept.

Thank you, Scottish Lass, these all speak to my sense of humour as your offerings often do. ๐Ÿ˜„

Based on the new stated position of Ravelry, is it now my understanding that the only people that itโ€™s ok to marginalize are Trump supporters???

From what I can glean here in Australia, yes, that's what is happening - some people have obviously sold their brains for profit.

Oh stirfry, I am so very sorry for your loss and for the constant aching emptiness you feel. You loved and were loved; that is more than many people have so hold to the memories. Smile a lot, even when it rips you apart. *hugs*

I am not going to discuss the article but I will say this. There is a person in my town who stands on a box on a street corner and spouts the most vile hatred and insults. I choose not to listen to him as it is offensive to me. But, the value of "freedom of speech" is more important than being "offended" by hate speech. This person has every right to spout offensive speech and I do not wish to take away that right. And, others have a right to listen to it if they wish to do so. I do not wish to take that right away too. Free speech is more important to me than being offended.

mambrose3, I totally agree with you. Freedom of speech is predicated by freedom of thought, not by indoctrination. We should be allowed to exercise our adult personal choices, preferably supported by logic and compassion rather than by absurd rhetoric and pseudo-offensiveness. Sticks and stones ...

You are still not getting it. Yes, I got to 224 pounds by eating a very unhealthy diet loaded with carbs. The Keto Lifestyle is just that. It is a Lifestyle of eating the way we should be eating. It is not a fad. I am a normal human who will stay with the healthy Keto Lifestyle.

Well said Evie, I too am on the low carb way of eating. Pulses upset my IBS so I steer clear of them. May I apologize for the extreme rudeness of MMWRay, not everyone is capable of clear thinking.
