I had just returned from dropping off my child at school. As soon as I walked through the door my mom said my aunt had called asking if I had talked to my husband. You see my husband was in NY for a business meeting. I could not get a hold of him for three hours. It was horrible. I still get emotional thinking of that day. My many blessings and so much personal tragedy for others.
We lost our 15 year old unexpectedly (due to oral surgery). This year will mark 11 years of his passing. It took me sometime but now we gather our family on his birthday with what he loved to eat (bbq ribs and mac and cheese) we top this off with chocolate milk shots. We say stories about our favorite memories and laugh some tears still but the memories are our comfort. Hopefully you will find your way to this tenuous bridge of happiness.
welcome to Florida. I'm in Miami.
I was just thinking of you and your wonderful photos and wondering if I had missed a post. Uncanny. Love, love your photos. Keep posting. It always gives me a sense of peace.
where I live the local TV station has a segment call help me... the people tell the reporter what the problem is. usually the bad press gets the job fixed.

I am 58 and love this. It's salty and sweet at the same time. In high school I would buy an orange creamsicle and dip it in mustard.
