The hats would be a welcome change from a plain beanie. Just remember to use an approved “chemo” yarn for their tender heads.

Is there a reference to what are approved chemo yarns A site or something be interested in knowing what yarns are approved for chemo hats

What an amazing thing you are doing, I would say yes on your hats for the children. Also what were the sizes of the Lap robes you made?

The certificate of adoption that comes with this pattern is a pdf file, it has to be converted to A Microsoft Word Document You would need to be able to convert the pdf, in order to type in your information you want to appear on the certificate or you can just print out the pdf and hand write your information

I created my own certificate which is really cute to go along with this pattern of the star

I am looking for a rough guide on the length and width of a scarf for a child and adult, please.

Thank you.

Scarf child
5" wide I do length of the person

Adult
6-8" wide I do length of the person

For a child under 5 years old I make neck warmers also called a cowl LESS chance of the scarf getting hung up on something
