I simply cannot believe you cannot continue with some knitting or crochet. If you can move some fingers you can do something, however slowly. A therapist could surely help. Please do not give away everything until you have explored ALL options. Sending positive thoughts to you and your nearest and dearest in the hope that something positive can come out of this. Please keep me posted. Hugs.

Great it was nothing serious and you are now home. Also all the tests must be reassuring. Take care of yourself - and make time for a bit of a rest!!!

I am not having a Smart meter until compulsory. Save you money? No. Use less electricity is the only way! Low energy light bulbs, turn off unnecessary lights and items on standby. When required replace fridges etc with energy efficient models. I also BBQ a lot, even in winter. I buy one large cylinder and this lasts a whole year. Costs £25!
The only advantages are for the energy suppliers. They can monitor when YOU use electricity and I just foresee higher charging bands. Also at the moment you have to have good mobile signals or they dont work. That problem is being worked on and they will soon have their own networks!

People seem very sniffy about your link. I think 4 ply or laceseight cotton would make a very comfortable bra!
I am all for that. Thanks. Happy New Year!!

I use a mandolin to slice the potatoes and then simmer in milk and/or cream till almost soft. I then put them in gratin dish, season with salt, pepper, garlic. The top layer only I add grated cheese. Add suffucient of the cooking milk and then chill. Reheat/finish cooking the following day.
