I'm with you. New year resolution is to get off my butt , get outside and walk more. I'm 64 and have problems walking but that is exactly what I need to do.
This last year I had cataracts removed and I can see distance without glasses for the first time in my life. I can now drive at night. It is amazing.
I eat a piece of chocolate. If that doesn't work I might have a good cry. Then think about what I can do.

This is right on. I am an introvert and all of these statements are true. Most people don't realize how difficult being introverted is. I can't remember how many times I've been told to just get over it. I've been in therapy for 30 yrs and there is no cure.
