I have circular needles. I put them in a bag with a needle gauge. What is the best way to store them and recognise the size if the gauge is not readily available. Do clear ziplock bags work? Won't they become bulky when your collection of needles grow. I have about 25 circular needles. Welcome some suggestions. Thank you.

Looks great. Lucky baby. I notice the trend these days is to knit bright colours for babies. New mothers love them. I have also ventured to bold colors.

I teach knitting/crochet to seniors and my oldest student is 87 and has severe arthritis in her fingers. Her knitting is getting better. She gets stressed if she can't get it right, more she tries, more she made mistakes. But that is all slowly changing as she feels supported and encouraged by the group members. Also she sees it as a social and therefore is more relaxed.
A local knitting group is worth a try.

Thank you very much everyone who have provided their ideas and links. I have picked a few more for my reference. I just started a scarf with Multiples 4 sts and it is also a one row pattern.

I share and teach my friends knitting/crochet and often scarf is their first project. Normally I give them a ball of yarn and a pair of needles or crochet hook.If they like it, then I suggest they buy their own needles/hooks. seems to work.

Is a "one row" pattern the garter stitch? I use this stitch on my hats and scarves. If not, what is a "one row" stitch

Yes, garter stitch is a row row pattern.

I found a link that has this one row repeat patterns.

This is one of my favorite one row repeat. I have done over 7 scarves using this pattern using different types of yarn and needle sizes.
