I live in Horace, which is just south of West Fargo.
I am super excited to have found Knitting Paradise! One to start getting back into my hobbies and also to meet new people. I found some wash cloth patterns and picked up different colors in the Sugar 'n Cream Twist. I am going to start tonight and hopefully everything from when I was young comes back quickly! Thank you everyone for making me feel welcome!!
Thank you everyone! I appreciate all the help. I found some simple dish cloth patterns for crocheting and knitting. I picked up a couple of different colors in Sugar 'n Cream Twists and am going to start try it out tonight. Thank you all again for the help!
Thank you and yes the gentleman is my husband.
Thank you for the tips...especially Ravelry!
It's been close to almost 20 years since I learned. Any suggestions on where the best place to start, such as website or book that has good tutorials, would be greatly appreciated! I had looked at our local craft store, but it was a little overwhelming.
My grandma was the one who first taught me how to crochet. I decided to try and remember how, even though it has been many years since. Hopefully it isn't hard to pick up again. I thought knitting would be fun to learn also. I figured this would a productive use of some of my spare time!
My beagle/pit bull mix, Sako, who is the biggest softy.
My jack russell mix, Milo, who thinks he is bigger than Sako.
They have to always sit in the same chair as you and sometimes it gets hard to get them to fit.
