does anyone remember the loop jackets of the 70's? if so could you tell me where i could get a pattern? i'd appreciate any help.
I'm also looking for that pattern for a friend. She made several of the jackets in the 70's, and she calls it Big Bird pattern. I've Googled everything I could think of and still can't seem to find it. Good luck with your search. I'll post if I find the pattern.
Kitchener/Waterloo is about a one hour drive North and a bit West of Hamilton. There are Len's stores in Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo and Hawkesville (all in the Waterloo area). I believe there is also one down near Port Dover area too. Just Google Len's Mill Stores and I think you'll find the info you need. If not, send me another message and I'll be more specific if you tell me what city you are coming from.
For those of you who live in Ontario, have you ever gone to Len's Mill Store for your yarn? Great prices, and even better selection than Michaels. They have stores around Southern Ontario, Canada
When I am finishing off the ends, I run the yarn along under several stitches and then I reverse and go back a few stitches in the opposite direction. Using different stitches, of course. The change in direction seems to help.
Thank you, Lolly. I was able to purchase the pattern at that site. I've already started construction of the puppy. It's so cute!!
I would love to crochet the patchwork puppy from Crochet World, but I can't seem to access the pattern there. Can anyone help me here?
