About user:
Occupation: Semi-retired, machine knit designer, cross stitch designer, fiber crafter Interests: Family, my personal relationship with my Lord, all sorts of fiber crafts, mostly yarn, knitting machines (have 4 set up), reading, genealogy and collecting ACEO's. Biography: I'm 67 years old, widow (hubby of 43 1/2 years passed away May 2012)- it's been a struggle, but he was my staunchest supporter and told me never to stop. We have 3 children, 6 of our own grandchildren + 5 from my children's previous marriages that we also gladly claim as ours.

I love all animals (we have two adorable, frustrating, beautiful and nosy felines). Plus there's 2 dogs and 3 birds in our household. I live with my youngest son and his family.

I currently have 5 knitting machines, that are operational, one set up full time since our move (my space is smaller for machines), plus some in various stages of repair/ refurbishing so I can give to various organizations and get them started knitting. It's worked very well. They've learned a lot and they keep on knitting!

I design for knitting machines, with DAK, flat bed e-patterns and hand-knit graphs. I also design cross stitch patterns with Hobbyware and also with graphs. Plus, I do tatting, hand knitting, crochet and ... well, just about any fiber craft. LOL.

Since I love collecting ACEO's so much, I'm working on picture knitting on the machines and trying to work them down to ACEO size. It's tedious, but I'm slowly getting there. I can do 5x7-ish easily, but getting some of my favorite original designs to pare down to 3.5" x 2.5" is the hard part! But I'll get there yet. Website:
