I have recently joined a group in my community which is part of a world wide effort to help the millions of orphans in South Africa. Basically, we knit 8 inch squares which will be combined to make blankets for these children. Yes, I had one skein of "100% wool" leftover, and I made that shortsleeve sweater for them. It's cute. I'm going to make a square or two and then ship it out. Postage is gonna cost $$$. But, I'm saving my change in a jar just for this purpose.
