I ordered a surprise grab bag of washable wool from Herrschners. The colors were kind of drab. But I decided to make this small blanket as a car seat blanket.
It was fun to make and went relatively fast. The pattern is called “ Lincoln Baby Blanket”. After working with the yarn , I decided it would make cute gingerbread house ornaments, because of the brown color. So now I am working on producing enough to give out during the holidays. The pattern I am using for the houses is a Drops pattern called “ Merry Village”. I don’t have any complete yet, as I work them in an assembly line fashion. I will probably make about 30 of them. The colors remind me of chocolate milk.
