First use pins to help determine where the limbs will be attached. Thread a long needle with a 30inch length of upholstery or other strong thread, doubled over. Do not knot. Insert the needle where the first pin is and push through to the opposite side leaving a 4 inch tail. Insert the needle one stich below where the needle came out and push back through to the other side, one stitch below where the thread goes in. Then insert the needle back into where the tail is protruding and push through to the other side. Pull the thread on both sides so that it indents the body. Tie off the tail using a tight knot and pull the other end to make sure the indents remain.* Push the needle through the inner side of the first limb and push through to the other side. Insert the needle back EXACTLY where it came out anddip the needle down through the stuffing and push it back up and out where it went in on the inner side. Insert the needle through the body where it came out and push through to the other side. Pull the thread to force the limb into the socket *.Repeat the steps *to * for the second limb. fasten off with a tight knot, leaving a 4 inch tail. thread each tail onto a needle and pull through the body to hide the ends. clip close to the body. If done correctly the ends should disappear into the body.
