I have a Yarn pantry and as such it is filled as needed, eg always super stocked up for winter, runs down in the summer to make way for new fall yarns. Things that are staples are filled up as they are used.I am very particular that there are no empty places that could cause stress later on so be prepared is a good motto for me .and the scouts.I have Totes of yarn I bought but won't buy again, but as we as don't have a "yarn bank" I can't send it anywhere as so I use them up and send the items made to various drop off banks for good causes. I stock up when things are on sale but sometimes buy a special treat then hoard it till the right thing comes along. I am known to get a bit restless if there is a yarn shortage and my pantry starts to look sparse so I have a tendency to hoard just a little in crisis times.

Right now, my yarn pantry looks like a shop so all is right with my world.

The one about working in crochet ends reminds me of my Mom. She made granny square afghans for charity, but got to the stage where she just let the squares pile up in boxes because she hated working in all the ends and sewing them together. Finally, I stepped forward and volunteered to do that part for her, but boy, I hated ot too, lol!! (Wish she was still here though. 😞) She would love all the new variations of granny squares there are to try now!

So glad to hear you're all stocked up.😺

Thanks for the giggles. I always feel a bit like an outsider because I didn't get that "need to buy" bug with yarn or clothes, for that matter. I like looking, and, if I have something in mind, I buy it; otherwise, I can pass it up. I DO have quite a stash built up, but it's yarn I've received as gifts or that I purchased for projects and then had leftovers, etc., but I don't buy yarn just because it's there as a rule. Is there anyone else on KP who is like me, I wonder?

You're not an outsider. You're here, you love your craft, and you like to Laugh. Glad you like the funnies.
