I have seen something similar except it had buttons on one side and the holes on the other, very useful. Thanks for the reminder
Just a thought I wonder if cuff links would work, my husband has inherited so many and he doesn’t use them, you’ve certainly got me thinking now????

Cool idea! I too would think about using buttons and slipping them through some stitches rather than trying to put snaps on a knitted/crocheted item. Might just have to try this one. Thanks. Happy Needling and Happy Easter. jberg

Good point and good idea!

Intriguing idea, my first thought was it would need to be a very light weight knit or the weight of the garment would deform the stitches. I would worry that any knit heavy enough to give much warmth wouldn’t hold up to the stress on the snaps/buttons/closures.

I think of it as an alternative style for a shawl/wrap. You wouldn't use the closure all the time-it would depend on the situation. And I thought the idea was good to use buttons and just hook them into the opposite stitches. Worth an experiment.
