I wanted to crochet this doily ever since I first saw it on HGTV's craft website. I contacted the lady that crocheted it and she helped me find the pattern.

It's a 1992 book named "Pineapple Parade by American School of Needlework", featuring Yalanda Wiese's collection of five doilies. This one is named "Pineapple and Webs" and it's 26" in diameter.

I was lucky to have found the book for sale on E-Bay!

Thanks for sharing that....I met a lady on a flight home recently, and she said her favourite stitch was the pineapple stitch. I can see why now. I recommended she join Knitting Paradise so she could share her wealth of knowledge, and learn from others. I hope she did join, as she was a lovely lady.

Hi. I tried looking for the book on eBay but couldn't find it. I'll just have to keep searching for it. I absolutely love that doily, it's gorgeous!
