I remember seeing toys (I think the crochet worms that I know how to do) but these had the googly eyes as the starting base. I am trying to figure out if there are different sizes of these eyes or if the one I see on Amazon would be okay to try. Does anyone remember the post? I have looked at my posts that I commented on and can't seem to find this one and I would like to be able to make some for the school to use in their quiet corner.

The Amazon description says the following about their size:
"Size: 1.18*1.38 inch. Inner ring diameter :0.5 inch."

I made a snail using those eyes and it turned out fine. I don't know if they would work for a worm.

Thank you! I found a snail pattern on Ravelry and marked it - maybe it was a snail I saw on KP?

I ordered some of those. The "cord" between the eyes is rather firm - I couldn't really fit it on my fingers, and I have relatively small hands...

I can't recall the initial suggestion for using them really either. I also think it was suggested for those worry worm things, a crochet spiral with a head. Personally, I think I was thinking they'd be great frog eyes for amigurumi. Still haven't done anything with them, though.

Hopefully, someone else remembers more details for us...
