Hi,
I found this beautiful skein of yarn in my stash and unfortunately it does not have a label. It is an acrylic, weight 4, and weighs 5.92 oz. Not much has been used. It is soft with a slight sheen. The color matching to DMC thread is Butternut (612).
My best guess is Caron Soft collection yarn but the colors do not match even though the yarn is close. My photo doesn't do it justice but I will post it. It is not a "harry" yarn like in the photo. The sheen in the middle of the photo is closer to the correct color. I would sure like to know what it is.
Thank you in advance for all your help, I know you will have some great ideas to help me identify this. And if I run out of yarn while I make this baby cardigan I'm designing, of course I will need more. :(

Thank you for the response.
It seems to be a softer yarn than red heart and there is a slight sheen to the yarn which I have not noticed on the Red Heart Super Saver yarn. It does seem to be about the same weight though. Red heart is about 10 wpi and this is slightly more, 10.5 wpi

I think the 'Red Heart With Love' might be it but now to figure out what color it is. It is not the current colors.

I also say red heart. The way its wound on the skein. The older yarn has a different feel than current product and older yarn is thicker. I still am using red heart from early 90s. I prefer it hands down to newer stuff. Luckily I likely have enough tokeep meknitting for rest of my life. No joke.....I have at least 40 totes left.

If I could just find the color, tan is too light, toasted almond is only in variegated, warm brown is too dark....and it has a slight sheen which regular Red Heart does not. :(

I'm still trying to find a 7 oz. skein with this color. Oh, to have the original label. :(
