I don't know much about Lion Brand wool ease yarn except that this pattern, I would need to use size 13 needles. I am wondering if 2 strands of worsted would be a good substitute. Since I have the perfect color in worsted and since my house is already overrun with yarn, I am hoping that I won't have to purchase yarn. So many Christmas presents to make!!!!

Wool Ease yarn comes in several weights. The Wool Ease Thick & Quick is listed as a 'super bulky' weight on Ravelry. It shows the gauge as 9 stitches equals 4 inches, using size 13 needles. If you can make that gauge using two strands of worsted weight yarn, then you should be okay to substitute. Of course, the important thing is being able to get the gauge called for in the pattern you want to make.
