I would like to try my hand at felting and would like to know what is a good yarn to use? I'm looking to buy some reasonably priced yarn that will do the job.
Thank you for your suggestions!

I have not done any felting myself, my daughter-in-law has.... by accident when a sweater made for her turned into the size for my granddaughter after one washing!Bostonmama said:I would like to try my hand at felting and would like to know what is a good yarn to use? White yarn often does not felt well
I think maybe because they have to bleach natural wool color to get white and even then it's not a true white. It's usually a soft white.JennyG12 said:Thank for your recommendations.

Thanks. I have felted several items in my years, but none had any white.woolywoman said:I think maybe because they have to bleach natural wool color to get white and even then it's not a true white. It's usually a soft white.
